This is another one of those little douche bags you meet from time to time in NYC -- wanna be rock start jack-ass type always talking about their struggle to "make it" and how really "tough it is out there" to be a working musician with a lot of talent but no connections etc.....ad infinitum, enough to make you sick to your stomach. Turns out the talentless prick is collecting like seven different kinds of welfare. Doesn't have to pay his own rent, gets $278 a month in free groceries thanks to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (also known as SNAP, or, more accurately -- Food Stamps) and to top it off, a nice little monthly check for pocket money and health care that would make a firefighter or teacher or other municipal employee jealous, all thanks to medicaid, and your willingness to go to work every morning to subsidize Benny's rock-and-roll fantasy.
Below is a recent spam from this guy, touting another one of his lame shows on Bleeker street and hyping his latest album. The reality is, rock boy here probably doesn't get too many royalties from his "album," but you can sure as shit believe he walks out of the Bitter End with money in his pocket after the show and just as certain is the fact that not one red cent of it gets reported as income to his welfare caseworker.
Hey Benny -- when the authorities find out you scammed them, your next gig might just be at Rikers, dickbag.
